When you’re five years old, you don’t have the ability to change the world. When you’re sixteen years old, you have the ability to change something within reach. You have the ability to believe in a cause, to believe in something, and to follow through with it. The steps you take to make your idea become reality is what’s going to show all of humankind, show all of mankind, that one action can help the world. Helping a man crossing the street, reaching out to a young girl with any eating disorder, listening to someone tell you how much they’ve endured during their lifetime, and then finding a way to make it better. Those are the kinds of great actions that can show others how they can help the world. The things you do today, the actions you make, show the world how we can begin to make this a better place.
